Day wise Itinerary

At 9:00 A.M.

The tour starts with a visit to the Mumbai's most popular attraction – Gateway of India. The monument was built as a triumphal arch to honor the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Bombay.

After that, walk towards the Regal Theatre. Designed by Charles Stevens and Karl Schara, Regal Cinema was opened in 1933. The theatre has received its name from Regal Circle and was only opened to perform Art Deco cinema.

Next visit will be Prince of Wales Museum from outside. It was designed by George Wittet. The construction of this building started in 1905 and completed in 1914.

Take a walk and visit the 19th century Elphinstone College – a Gothic-Victorian-style university campus, stuffed with stone balconies, balustrades, turrets, and gargoyles. In north of the college, you will come across another historic building - a 19th century David Sassoon Library that is appreciably funded by the affluent Jewish businessman, David Sassoon

Further take a walk to visit the University of Bombay. Established in the year 1857, it is one of the most honored universities of the country. Your walk takes you to visit High Court of Mumbai.

It’s time to walk to the Flora Fountain. This is a stone fountain built in 1864 and situated in Fort business district in the heart of South Mumbai. The last stopover is going to be Victoria Terminus Railway Station that is now known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Designed by Frederick William Stevens, a consulting architect in 1887-1888, the station happened to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
